The course I am taking is called, "La Novela Chicana." it's an independent study. I am supposed to read eight books and write a paper for each one of them. So far I have read 4 books but have only written three papers. all the books are very interesting here are the titles:

Anaya, Rudolfo. Bless Me, Ultima. (1972) or Heart of Aztlán (1975) finished

Cisneros, Sandra. House on Mango Street. (1985) finished

Limón, Graciela.Memories of Ana Calderón (1994)

Cantú, Norma, Elia. Canícula: Snapshots of a Girlhood en la Frontera. (1995)

Castillo, Ana. The Mixquiahuala Letters. (1986)

Lopez-Medina, Sylvia. Cantora. (1992)

I hope to be done with everything on time. The books are very interesting, it's only the writing that

I procastinate a little with, but I'll finish, this is one of the courses I need to graduate from csumb.
